Don't Be Unequally Yoked!!

2 Corinthians 6:14: "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" (KJV)

Unequally: Not the same in any measurable aspect, such as extent or quantity, Having unbalanced sides or parts; asymmetrical

Yoked: Something that connects or joins together; a bond or tie

What does it mean to be unequally yoked according to this definition??? - Having an unbalanced bond??

Different Relationships that can be unequally yoked:

Friends
Boyfriends/Girlfriends
Husband/Wives
Mother/Daughter
List Goes on and on!!!

What if I am unequally yoked?

I can't provide you with the right answer, but you have to seek God for yourself. You have to look at that relationship and see if it is taking you away from spending time with God and if it is, you have to let it go. Some things and people in your life are not meant to be there, so it is time to disconnect somethings and stay connected to the master.

Get out of these unequally yoked relationships!!!

3 Helpful Tips on Planning a Wedding

Hi Guys and Welcome to my blog! I was recently asked by a reader to do a post on planning a wedding. When planning my wedding I received a plethora of advice and opinions as will you. Planning a wedding can be very stressful as when I look back over my experience there is so much that I wish I could do over.
